Electrical - EPC / EPCM

EPCM Up to $240,000k

Our client is leader driven by a core set of fundamental values driven by excellence and agility and who is well positioned in the EPCM arena. With many projects on the horizon together a full book of real projects, an an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Lead Electrical Estimator within this blue-chip organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Estimating Manager this newly created position will allow you to develop the position around yourself while assisting in the mentorship and management of 3 estimators in the team.

To be suitable for this Lead Estimator opportunity you should be able to:

Have good knowledge of engineering principles
Prepare the services and / or capital cost estimates in the specialized discipline areas using current techniques and market pricing
Performs the necessary reviews for quantity takeoffs from design drawings
Prepares the basis and necessary assumption documentation denoting rationale, inclusions and exclusions
Develops and performs analysis of project cash models and the corresponding time value of money
Performs data analysis which assists in helping identify problems and can makes recommendations

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

10 + years of Estimating experience
Demonstrated advanced understanding of Estimating core processes requiring minimal direction and supervision
Experience in Controls systems
Knowledge of EPC and EPCM estimating methods, processes and procedures
Good team leadership experience
Is pragmatic...!!!

This is a unique opportunity for a person that is wanting to step up to the next level in their career. Within 3 to 4 years the incumbent can step into the the Chief Estimating's role for the Asia Pacifc region.
